How to protect your sleep from nighttime scrolling.
Set one continuous boundary before bed, through nighttime wake-ups, and after waking. See how Modern Focus Protected Night blocks selected distractions.
Your time belongs to you. Modern Focus puts a shared limit on distracting apps and websites, so one quick check stays one quick check.

Different apps. Same allowance.
Illustrative settings and usage, not an app screenshot.
You close Instagram. Open Reddit. Check a website. Modern Focus connects those selected distractions with one shared budget.
Selected apps and websites draw from one rolling allowance. Older use leaves the window over time, making room for deliberate visits.
Set a maximum continuous session to interrupt a visit before it quietly takes over the next part of your day.
Limit repeated openings and add a mandatory pause. Create a moment to return to the thing you meant to do.
Choose the apps and domains to restrict. Leave your maps, essential messages, and other necessary tools outside the selection.
Relaxing locked settings requires a phone restart and a short configuration window. A considered change takes more than another tap.
See time, openings, and blocks per target. Learn where your attention goes, then make a boundary that fits your day.
Website support depends on your browser. See supported browsers and setup details →
That's what 30 minutes a day adds up to over a year. What would you make room for?

An app cannot choose your priorities. But a boundary around scrolling can make room for them. A practical way to turn less screen time into something real.
Look beyond screen-time totals. Notice automatic checking, lost intentions, and real-life interference without turning a checklist into a diagnosis.
Clear boundaries start with knowing what your tools can do.
Modern Focus is coming soon to Google Play. Production approval is pending; download links will be enabled when the app is publicly available.
Modern Focus is an Android app blocker. Selected apps and websites share one rolling time allowance. You can also limit continuous sessions, repeated openings, and set a mandatory pause before reopening.
A daily timer typically resets at midnight. A rolling budget looks back over your chosen interval. As older usage leaves that window, allowance becomes available again. Selected targets share the same budget.
Yes. Choose which apps and website domains to restrict. Apps outside that selection remain available. Modern Focus does not selectively hide Reels or preserve DMs inside a blocked social app.
Once configuration is locked, you can tighten limits and add restrictions. Relaxing limits or removing restrictions requires restarting your phone and editing within the first five minutes after boot. This adds friction; it is not an unbreakable lock.
The current app recognizes Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Samsung Internet on Android. Website detection depends on accessible address-bar information and can vary with browser updates. Test your chosen browser after setup.
Yes. Protected Night can keep selected apps and detected websites blocked continuously from a configurable period before bedtime through a configurable period after wake time. It is a repeating sleep boundary, not a general calendar scheduler, and it does not lock alarms, calls, or unselected apps.
Modern Focus is currently an Android app (Android 7.0 or later). It does not provide an iPhone app, desktop blocker, cross-device sync, or a general calendar scheduler.
Accessibility enables foreground app and supported website detection. Usage access helps recover missed tracking. Notification permission enables the live remaining-time countdown. Blocking depends on the monitoring service staying enabled and responsive.
Choose your distractions. Set your boundaries. Get back to what matters.
